The Convergence of Social CRM and Intelligent Marketing

I am absolutely in love with the ability to align segmented databases / lists with advanced utilities to digitally contact / engage / convert users depending on everything from demographics to postal codes. I've been screaming for this for quite some time now. Screw email databases, I want a database of constituents organized with all of their social / digital media data and the ability to reach out to them via Twitter, Foursquare, Instagram, Pinterest, basically anyway they want to engage with the brand. I really think it this is the next step in digital and everybody's already talking about it; Personalization, it's just advanced communication.

We are currently seeing Social CRMs intersect with Engagement Platforms and Traditional CRMs to bring together these platforms:

This is what I've got for you:

80 / 20 Solutions - http://www.8020solutions.com - I sat down with these guys a couple of years ago, their then CEO Steve Irvine - now Facebook Canada Business Development Lead was extremely flexible and offered some ridiculously AWESOME targeting and advanced segmentation of database lists, totally worth looking at.

Salesforce.com - http://www.salesforce.com - No joke, Salesforce.com has acquired Radian 6 and Buddy Media. They are gearing up for advanced targeting for and some serious digital marketing automation.

Sprout Socialhttp://www.sproutsocial.com - This is what you're looking for, a true Social CRM. The ability to seriously target and convert.

Argyle Social - http://argylesocial.com - Phenomenal at measuring ROI. Worth looking at for social constituent monitoring.

This is just the beginning of organized Social but I think it's important to start checking out these platforms and get ready for some really powerful tools to hit the market.
